Christian Education
Sunday Church School
We have classes on Sunday mornings for children from Pre-K through eighth grade. We offer children and youth a chance to grow and learn in a friendly classroom community among their peers. They get to know the Bible; they learn about God's love for them; and they are encouraged to make God a part of their daily lives. The ministry of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is introduced through the curriculum. Our students are introduced to the Presbyterian form of worship by attending the beginning part of the service in the Santuary and by taking part in children's worship services in the Chapel. Sunday School takes place directly after a "Talk With the Children" at the 10:00 a.m. service.
Seekers Class (Confirmation)
Youth in ninth grade are invited to join our Seekers (Confirmation) Class. Children are contacted through mailings and information in bulletin inserts once they have reached this age. Confirmation Sunday is traditionally on the third Sunday in May. Classes with Pastor, meetings with the Christian Education Staff, and a Presbyterian retreat are just a few activites that our young adults enjoy. Adult Bible Study
Men's Fellowship Bible Study takes place on the first Saturday of the month at 8:00 a.m. Women's Bible Study takes place on Thursdays at 6:30 pm with fellowship as well as discussion of the Word of God. All are welcome to attend.
Child Care
Child care for infants and toddlers is provided each Sunday morning during the 10:00 a.m. service in the nursery that is adjacent to our Sanctuary. Our child care providers are experienced and provide a warm and nurturing experience for our youngest congregation members.
Vacation Bible School
This popular program takes place each July and is open to not only children from our church, but also others from the surrounding communities. Children from Pre-K through 6th Grade enjoy songs, crafts, games, snacks, and stories all while learning about the love of God, and His Son, Jesus Christ. Our program always concludes with a lively performance by the Vacation Bible School students.
Youth Group
